The Annual General Meeting of the Telework Association will be held at Henley Management College, Greenlands, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 3AU at 09:00 on Thursday September 11th 2008. Members who are are unable to be there in person may attend remotely by telephone audio conference.

The Telework Association is a membership organisation providing information, advice and support to enable individuals, whether employed or self employed, to make a success of mobile, home-based and flexible ways of working.

We also support managers who are implementing these working practices and now work in collaboration with the Future Work Forum at Henley Management College to enhance our services to organisations.

The Telework Association is Europe's largest organisation dedicated to the promotion of all forms of teleworking and over 7,000 people and organisations have joined us since we started in 1993. We believe that these new ways of working can benefit people by increasing the quality of life and improving access to work, as well as delivering significant business benefits to the organisations that implement them.

Our members receive a bi-monthly magazine and a weekly bulletin. These electronic publications pull together information in an easily digestible form about technology, organisations, legislation and work opportunities relevant to anyone working in these non-traditional ways. You can JOIN HERE.

We also publish The Teleworking Handbook, which is the most comprehensive guide to teleworking good practice yet produced. Now in its third edition, it includes introducing telework in organisations,ideas for telebusinesses, staying legal and equipment and training. We are a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. Membership is open to individuals and companies and an elected board ensures that the operation of the Association reflects the needs of the teleworking community.
